Chapter 147 — The Long-Awaited...
Years of Heartflutter Page 292 of 501
"I'm fine." Though Liu Baoqiang was quite drunk, he had not yet passed out. "This liquor is a bit strong. I'm feeling a little fuzzy now."
"Then do you want to rest for a bit?" Liu Ting asked, a little worried.
"No need. I'll just lie down for a while and I'll be fine," Liu Baoqiang said.
"Brother Baoqiang, what's wrong?" Seeing Liu Baoqiang slumped over, Wei Jin was delighted inside, though on the surface he put on a show of great concern.
"Liu Baoqiang has had too much to drink. I want to take him somewhere to rest first," Liu Ting said, raising her head to speak to Wei Jin. She was somewhat displeased—this fellow had knocked Liu Baoqiang out with a single cup while he himself was perfectly fine. Wasn't that just a way of looking down on her Liu Baoqiang?
"Oh, it's all my fault!" Wei Jin promptly put on a regretful expression. "He must have drunk it too fast. Resting a bit is the right thing to do. Waiter!"
"Is there something you need, Young Master Wei?" The waiter hurried over and asked.
"My classmate is drunk. Take him to find a room to rest in, and get some hangover medicine," Wei Jin instructed the waiter.
Wei Jin was afraid Liu Ting would follow along too, so he quickly summoned the waiter to take over.
"Qiang, how about I come with you?" Liu Ting was rather uneasy about the state Liu Baoqiang was in.
"It's fine, Tingting. This is your class reunion—it wouldn't do for you to leave right at the start. I'll go down and rest a bit, then come back up," Liu Baoqiang said. He too felt he must have drunk too fast; otherwise, on any ordinary day, a cup of baijiu should have been no problem for him.
"All right then. Be careful." Hearing his words, Liu Ting nodded and sat back down in her seat.
Supported by the waiter, Liu Baoqiang walked out of the restaurant and headed for the guest rooms upstairs.
Yang Ce glanced at Wei Jin, then at Liu Baoqiang's retreating figure. Suddenly, a familiar scene flooded into his mind.
When someone is unusually attentive for no reason, he is either scheming or thieving. What Yang Ce thought of was that scene years ago when Wang Lin had invited him to drink at the Heavenly Paradise. Hadn't Wang Lin also started by currying favor with him? It was almost identical to the exchange between Wei Jin and Liu Baoqiang today.
Could it be—at this thought, Yang Ce's heart gave a jolt. Was this Wei Jin also plotting to harm Liu Baoqiang? Although Yang Ce and Liu Baoqiang had only just met and were not close, the relationship between Chen Shutang and Liu Ting was no ordinary one. And from today's interactions, Yang Ce's impression of Liu Baoqiang was quite good, so he kept an eye on the waiter and on Liu Baoqiang's side of things. Without betraying anything in his expression, he used his ability to lock onto Liu Baoqiang and the waiter, his face still wearing that cold, stern look.
After Liu Baoqiang left, Wei Jin slipped his hand into his pocket and pressed the send key on his phone. Over on the other end, Zou Ruoguang's phone immediately rang—this was a signal the two had agreed upon beforehand.
Zou Ruoguang was just then sprawled on top of Zhao Xiaoyan. The ringtone gave him such a fright that he nearly turned impotent on the spot. But after seeing the caller's number, he did not dare feel any displeasure—it was his cousin Wei Jin calling.
Zou Ruoguang looked at the alluring body beneath him and felt rather unwilling. He was just about to get to the good part. But what good was unwillingness? Cooperating with his cousin's little performance was the first priority.
Zou Ruoguang hurriedly finished the battle, then told Zhao Xiaoyan to go take a quick shower and set off to carry out her mission.
Wei Jin's movement of reaching into his pocket and pressing the send key had naturally not escaped Yang Ce's eyes, and so Yang Ce became all the more certain that this Wei Jin was up to some scheme.
The waiter helped Liu Baoqiang into a guest room, laid him on the bed, and then withdrew from the room. Standing at the door, he waited for Zhao Xiaoyan to arrive.
Before long, he saw Zhao Xiaoyan walking over. The waiter swallowed hard. He did not know that Zhao Xiaoyan was sick, but he did know that she was the woman Young Master Wei had brought in to handle proper business, and that he must not cross her. So he smiled and said, "The man's inside. I'll leave the rest to you."
"All right." Zhao Xiaoyan gave a charming smile, her heart beginning to pound wildly. As long as she finished today's job, she would get fifty thousand yuan.
Zhao Xiaoyan did not knock. Instead she opened the door directly with a key and slipped inside the room.
So that was it. After seeing Zhao Xiaoyan enter Liu Baoqiang's room, Yang Ce suddenly understood. But he also felt a faint sense of disappointment. Couldn't these young masters come up with some other, more creative trick? Why did they have to play this same game every time?
Yang Ce did not know that Zhao Xiaoyan was "sick," so when he saw this scene, he was in no hurry to stop it. In his view, it could not do Liu Baoqiang any harm at present.
Even if Liu Baoqiang were blinded by lust and did it with the woman before him, he would lose nothing. As for how he would handle his relationship with Liu Ting afterward, that was his own problem.
To want to indulge in lust yet pay no price for it—where in the world was there such a bargain? Yang Ce could tell at a glance that Liu Baoqiang was merely drunk; his mind was still quite clear. His case was different from Yang Ce's own that time: Wang Lin had laced the liquor he gave Yang Ce with knockout drops, but Wei Jin had not put any drugs in Liu Baoqiang's drink.
So if Liu Baoqiang really did get up to something with that woman, he could only blame his own lack of self-control. Yang Ce could not be bothered to concern himself with such matters.
After entering the room, Zhao Xiaoyan quickly stripped off her clothes, then climbed naked onto the bed beside Liu Baoqiang. With her old professional training, Zhao Xiaoyan knew very well how to tease a man.
Zhao Xiaoyan began to undo Liu Baoqiang's trousers with practiced boldness, then reached her hand inside and started to arouse him.
Liu Baoqiang, groggy, felt someone lying beside him but paid it no mind. But when someone began unbuttoning his trousers, he was startled and quickly opened his eyes—only to see a woman with a perfect figure and a lovely face lying beside him completely naked, her eyes soft with seduction, which instantly set his heart racing and his blood surging.
"You—who are you?" Liu Baoqiang asked in alarm, forcing himself to endure the waves of pleasure Zhao Xiaoyan's teasing produced.
"The deluxe guest rooms at the resort all come with complimentary service," Zhao Xiaoyan said, following what Zou Ruoguang had taught her. She said it was free because she was afraid Liu Baoqiang would worry about the cost.
Most people's mindset is this: if it's free, you might as well take it. So Wei Jin figured that something costing nothing would be easier for Liu Baoqiang to accept.
"I—I don't need it!" Liu Baoqiang was startled. Though the urge was strong, he forced himself to refuse. What he was thinking was: if Liu Ting found out about this, he'd be finished.
"Come on." Zhao Xiaoyan's enticing red lips came toward Liu Baoqiang to kiss him. Liu Baoqiang turned his head aside to avoid her, panting heavily.
Zhao Xiaoyan gave a giggling laugh. "Still shy, are we? It's fine—it's very safe here. The door's already locked from the inside." As she spoke, she intensified the pressure of her hand.
Liu Baoqiang was no gentleman either. He had asked Liu Ting to do this before, but Liu Ting had always held the last line of defense, refusing to let him succeed. So at this moment, Liu Baoqiang was truly somewhat tempted.
