Chapter 4988 — A Bit of a Surprise

This time, with everyone plotting against the Heavenly Elixir Pavilion, Zheng Dongjue was indeed glad to see it happen. Previously, deterred by the Heavenly Dao Walker's might, he had not dared press Tian Chan too hard. Now that the Heavenly Dao Walker had left, if the others brought down the Heavenly Elixir Pavilion, he could then rightfully recall Tian Chan to the Elixir Hall. Zheng Tianchu had pestered him endlessly over this matter these past two years, and he had long harbored the intention.

"Since that is so, I am reassured." Wu Miao gave a dark smile, then suddenly asked again: "By the way, forgive my boldness in asking—the Famous Medicine Sect has always been on bad terms with the Five Elements Merchant Guild, and the Elixir Hall is of one breath and one branch with the Five Elements Merchant Guild. Your presence here today, Vice Hall Master Zheng, is truly a bit of a surprise?" (To be continued.)
